- "Stalk" without getting caught.
Avoid double-tapping an IG photo from 165 weeks ago by opening the account of the person you want to "stalk." Once all the pictures have been loaded, switch your phone to airplane mode. Scroll—safely—away!
- Go straight to Camera Roll when you want to post a photo.
When uploading a photo on Instagram, hold down the camera icon to open your camera roll immediately instead of being directed to the Instagram camera first (which we all know no one uses). This'll save you a lot of time especially if your phone takes a while to load.
- Hide a tagged photo of you.
Go to your tagged photos in your profile and click on the pic you'd like to hide. Tap the photo to see the tag and click on it once it pops up. You'll be given an option to either hide or show the tagged pic on your profile.
- Arrange the filters according to your liking.
Upload a picture and click on "Filters." Scroll all the way to the right until you see a "Manage" button. Click on it and it'll show you all the filters you have. You can uncheck the ones you don't like or arrange them according to your preference.
- Increase audience engagement.
You can either try any of the following or do them all:
Post pics with different shades of blue as it increases the numbers by 24% more than predominantly red or orange posts, according to dailymail.co.uk.
Instead of just tagging a person or a brand on your picture, make sure to mention their handle in your captions, too. This is to increase your audience engagement by 56%, says adweek.com.
Meanwhile, get.simplymeasured.com says that geo-tagging your posts will result in a 79% higher engagement.
