Who doesn't love bacon, right? Unless you're a vegetarian, you've probably had bacon at least once this week. And if you haven't, what's wrong with you? Kidding. Just because we're big bacon lovers here at the Candy HQ, we thought we'd share a few yummy recipes you can try making with the golden slab of pork.

  1. Bacon Jam
Bacon in jam? What? But before you complain, let us explain why you should totally give this a try. You know how the marriage of sweet and salty is sometimes the best kind of gustatory explosion in your mouth? Think maple syrup and cheese pancakes, salted caramel, chocolate covered pretzels. We can go on and on. Imagine making this and storing in a jar and putting on burgers, on waffles, and even just on a spoon straight into your mouth. Mmm.

  2. Bacon Drop Biscuits
This cheesy bacon treat is the perfect snack. Enjoy this with some afternoon tea with your mom. Or you know any time of day is fine, too. Because there's always time for bacon. Are we right, or are we right?

  3. Cream Puffs with Chocolate Cream and Honeycured Bacon
All the textures you can imagine in one delectable bite: the fluffy puff pastry, smooth and creamy chocolate, and a crispy piece of sweet-salty bacon. Come on, you've got to be kidding us if you're not the least bit curious about this recipe.

  4. Bacon-Wrapped Potato Wedges
Love taters, but tired of your usual french fries snack? Why not take it a level up by wrapping some potato wedges with bacon. You can have these with your favorite sandwich or burger!

  5. Bacon and Pecan Pancakes with Cream Cheese-Honey Butter
Sounds like a mouthful—and it is! If you're looking for the breakfast of champions, our bet is on this one. You don't even need to make the pancake from scratch. You can use your favorite store-bought brand and mix in the bacon and pecans. You'll love this so much, you'll probably make them for dinner again.

Which one will you try making this weekend?
