If, like most of us, you're also a huge fan of all things Korean, then we're guessing you're equally overjoyed with the latest news about South Korea finally opening its borders to Filipino travelers soon. But before you get too excited with the words "visa-free privileges," you should first be aware of one crucial requirement: To be allowed a visa-free stay in mainland Korea for five days, the visitor must be bound for Jeju Island with connecting flights at Incheon or Gimhae airports.

Disappointing? Not at all! This is TOTALLY a great excuse to finally see the beautiful Jeju Island! And if you're a true-blue K-drama fan, you probably don't need a lot of convincing to include this place in your travel bucket list—Jeju, for obvious reasons, has been featured in popular dramas like Princess Hours, Boys Over Flowers, Secret Garden, Fated to Love You, and My Girl, just to name a few.
