There are a lot of songs written for happy relationships and even broken hearts, but we found that there is a need for more songs tackling how difficult it is to deal with complicated relationships—those that aren't really considered relationships in the most formal sense of the word, you know, almost relationships.
Not until we heard MilesExperience's "Silakbo." The band, made up of students from the University of Sto. Tomas' (UST) Conservatory of Music, have been making people's hearts sing with joy and the pain of hearbreak in the indie music scene. They've been performing for students of the University of the Philippines, UST, De La Salle University, and more for a while now! So we, the Candymag.com Team, travelled to the Glass Tone Studio in Quezon City a few months back after inviting MilesExperience to perform live—exclusively for the Candy Girls.
We know y'all have a lot of ~*feelings*~ and we've been seeing all your comments on our stories about complicated relationships, so here's "Silakbo" for you. Happy watching and listening, Candy Girls.
Make sure you visit the site and follow us on our social media accounts, Candy Girls, because we'll be releasing another video and the feature of MilesExperience soon.
