Since we've been seeing our favorite celebrities having their birthday parties and birthday salubongs, we figured out a way you can give your loved ones or your boyfriend the perfect one through their parties! From Daniel Padilla's bash to Julia Barretto's recent barbecue, we're giving you a few tips and tricks we learned from them below.
- Ask his family to be a part of it.
Birthday parties can get really expensive, so getting some help from your boyfriend's parents can help lessen the load. Plus, they get to be a part of the celebration and you get to work with them, too.
- Find a good place or location for his birthday bash.
The place doesn't have to be super fancy, TBH. All you need is a fairly wide space that's big enough to hold all the people he holds dear in his heart... and a small stage where he can seat down and see all his well-wishers from. Ask your friends if they know a place, too, or his family if they have a backyard you can use.
- Prepare his favorite food.
Food will give life to his birthday salubong, so make sure you prepare enough for the whole crew. If you can't afford to buy food for everyone, ask your families and friends if you can hold a potluck and bring your boyfriend's favorite dishes to the party.
- Ask his musician friends to sing his favorite songs.
Or if you sing well, go on the stage and sing your song for him. This will not only make his heart swell with joy, it will provide good entertainment for your guests, too—straight from the heart of the one who planned the entire thing!
- Ask his loved ones to say a short message for him.
Or if he refuses to cry during the party (LOL!), you can ask the important people in his life to dance with him instead. Make sure you get the last dance! *winks*
- Don't forget to have someone document the whole event.
Of course, never forget to assign or ask someone to take photos and videos of his birthday bash. You'll both be busy entertaining everyone, for sure, so ask one of your friends if they can kindly do it for you.
- Light up the sky for him!
Start (or even end) his birthday by lighting up the sky for him. It doesn't have to be a grand display of fireworks, but just make him feel how much he lights up your world. Don't forget to give him a big kiss. ♥
