If there's one thing peeps in a relationship want once they enter one, it's to make things last. None of us say yes to relationships thinking about when we'll break up with our bae. We all want something that lasts forever, and if you're here to find out how you can do that, then you've come to the right place.

Studies in the Journal of Social and Personal Relationships found that when couples place a high value on their friendship with the one they're with, they feel more secure in the relationship. (via WomensHealthMag.com)

The researchers at Purdue University had 190 students who've been in a relationship for an average of 18 months. They followed up with them after four months and found that 27% of them were no longer with the same person. What they found out? Those who were still together scored higher in areas of friendship, romantic commitment, and love.
