So Who Should Pay for a Date?

These Candy Cuties weigh in on whether the guy or girl should pay or if it's fine to go dutch.

It's no secret that when you're dating someone, you're not only investing your time and your feelings on them. You're also investing some amount of cash on the two of you. And if you're still a student, that would cost a lot—on top of your budget for printing your papers and handouts and your budget on your school projects.

So here's a question we've been thinking about for a while now: Who should spend on dates? Should it be the guy, the girl, or both of them? Our Candy Cuties speak up and help us decide on this issue.

"The guy should. I'm a strong believer in chivalry." —Mark Paterson
"I believe the guy should spend on dates. It's one way to show how special the girl is to him no matter how much it costs." —Jesse Hansen

How about you, Candy Girls? Who do you think should spend on dates? We'd love to hear what you have to say. So leave a comment below or tweet us @candymagdotcom.
