Tavi Gevinson a.k.a. teen girl extraordinaire gives us a video tour of her Chicago home through Alexa Chung for British Vogue. In the process, Tavi gave us a few awesome tips on how to deal with breakups and use them to your advantage.

Tavi's tips? Just 2 things:

  1. Listen to David Bowie or musicians who don't sing about love. "A breakup is a good time to get into someone who's basically an androgynous alien who doesn't sing about love," she said.

  2. Make a self-help wall or an inspiration board. Pin a self-portrait of the person you need to be at the moment, photos of "mega-babes killing it," and lots of beautiful things.
