Ask Yourself This Question First Before You Start a Fight with Bae

This might save you from another fight.
ART Clare Magno

It is so tempting to lose your temper whenever there's something your significant other does that really, really, really annoys you. The reason could be as petty as him being late for your movie date or something that's bigger like him forgetting your anniversary—in that case WAHOW?! But before you confront him about it and start talking and talking about your feelings, take a deep breath first and read through this.

A study in the journal of Social Psychological and Personality Science found that the "future" thinking trick made people less likely to blame and more likely to forgive their baes during and after a fight. How do you do this? Ask yourself this question: Will you still care about this one year from now? (via WomensHealthMag.com)

This makes sense, right? Looking at your future as a couple will give you some perspective, stopping you from taking drastic actions and saying things that you'll regret in the long run. All of us want a good relationship in the future, so this way of thinking allows us to avoid things that won't matter to your life as a couple a year from now.
