5 Ways Introverts Love Differently
Are you an introvert? Or maybe you're in a relationship with an introvert?
We know it's easy to feel like no one understands you or that you won't be able to understand your introvert babe, but if we only take time to get to know them, things will be easier between the two of you. So here's a list that might help, Candy Girls. We promise, these things are nothing to worry about.
- Introverts value their Me Time.
The voices in our heads are loud, so loud that whenever we get some peace and quiet, it's priceless. Whenever we want be alone for a while, don't think that it's got something about you or that you've done something wrong. It's just that we need some Me Time to relax, re-evaluate things in our life, and just take a break from everything that's going on around us. Please forgive us for not responding to your texts and calls ASAP, yes?
- We just want to be understood.
During an argument or whenever we're talking, there's only one thing we'd love for you to do: to understand where we're coming from. Just as much as you want us to see things from your perspective. We overthink each and every second of our lives, so whenever someone tells us that they're here for us or that they, at least, want to get where we're coming from, it means a lot. Just that and a simple apology will really do.
- We know how to have fun, too.
We may be quiet most of the time, but we know how to have fun, too, especially when we're with you. We can go out on a date or we can even have fun with your friends. We won't take it against you, we promise. We'll even love the company and the time when we're able to learn more about you and get to know you deeper. It's just that we need some time to re-energize after spending time with people because we usually only open up to ones we're comfortable with or those whom we trust.
- Introverts value the way you listen.
This is why, during arguments, we also tend to listen to you so much before we even try and speak. We're not being apathetic and it's not that we stopped caring about what goes on in our relationship. We just need time to think things over before we speak up.
- We love to know that you're happy.
We easily get a hint and feel things whenever something goes wrong, so when we see that you're happy and contented, we feel really happy as well. It is a need for us to know that you're feeling great in our company and with how much of ourselves we share with each other.
Introverts aren't really that difficult to understand. We just tend to take things and feel things differently, more intense, than others. But whenever we get a chance, we will support you and love you the best way you know how. We want to learn about the best way to love you as much as you want to know the best way you can love us.
