After months of anticipation, the 2019 bar examination results are out. Out of 7,685 examinees, a total of 2,103 passed to become the country’s latest batch to conquer the bar exam. The 2019 results have a passing rate of 27.36 percent. This is highest passing rate since 2016.
Due to quarantine, the results were released online on the Supreme Court’s website for the first time in the bar exam’s history instead of being posted first at the Supreme Court on Padre Faura Street in Manila. The exams were taken in November of 2019, with the results being released today, April 29, 2020.
The 2019 bar exam topnotchers are:
Out of the ten topnotcheres, seven were women. Female passers also dominated the first five topnotcher positions, two of whom graduated from the University of Santo Tomas - Legaspi.
