Theater Arts major Sophie Barroga has been into dressing up ever since she was a child. When she discovered anime and games, Sophie's penchant for dressing up eventually blossomed into cosplaying different characters.

On the internet, Sophie goes by Nakano, inspired by one of her favorite anime characters. From conceptualizing her cosplay looks to upcycling them into entirely new costumes, Sophie proves that cosplay is one of the many ways to unleash your creativity.

Aside from cosplay, however, Sophie finds another outlet for creative expression through digital art. Believe it or not, she started out by drawing only on her phone, and even then, people are lining up to commission her for art.

In this episode of What It's Like, Sophie talks about how her passion for cosplay started and how it's going even during the pandemic, as well as how she's earning and expressing her creativity through her interest in digital art.
