Many students who pursue graduate studies find themselves knee-deep in academic responsibilities. Law students, in particular, often have their schedules packed with endless study sessions. Shayrie Wynn, a former law student who had to pursue a freelance life, finds herself bouncing back from life's challenges. She went from having a fully-booked schedule filled with studying to having more control of her time and how she wants to spend it.
Shayrie was already on her third year in law school, but she had to stop her studies after the sudden death of her father and the threat of the COVID-19 pandemic. With more free time on her hands, Shayrie decided to work as an online English tutor at a website called 51Talk. As a freelance teacher, Shayrie has the freedom to choose how many classes she wants to teach in a day and at which timeslots, while allowing her to earn extra money to support herself and her family.
Despite putting her lawyer dreams on hold, Shayrie is still determined to come back and continue pursuing her original career path. She even plans on simultaneously pursuing law while remaining an online English teacher.
