If you're a constant lurker on TikTok or if you've just had your daily dose of Twitter—you probably had a good laugh and got good vibes from Teacher Dan.
Cebuano elementary teacher Danieca Arreglado Goc-ong, more popularly known as Teacher Dan, has been going viral for her comedic tutorial videos on music lessons. This teacher-vlogger shared in an interview with DZMM that she used to teach four subjects: Araling Panlipunan, Filipino, Values Education, and MAPEH (Music, Arts, Physical Education, and Health) in a private school pre-pandemic. But with the rise of online content creation on TikTok and YouTube, a result from people being stuck in their homes due to quarantine, Teacher Dan, like many others, ventured into creating content to apply her teaching skills, and at the same time, give good vibes to viewers.
The teacher-vlogger mentioned that while the virality of her videos was not something she intended, she's happy she is able to make people laugh with her music lessons and voice tutorials on her online pages.
One video on Frozen's "Do You Wanna Build a Snowman" particularly gained attention on Twitter as well, which gave rise to netizens using "Elsa?" in their tweets as well as "Opening Remarks."
