Because important!

There's no denying that the Hallyu fever is upon us. What's the point, TBH, because it's so obvious.

But if you think they're just there to make us kilig or be our de-stresser, these dramas and our oppas actually give us so much more. They inspire us to do our best and be our best selves. That's why when we saw K-Drama fan Em de Guzman's graduation speech wherein she thanked her K-Drama oppas, we just had to share because this could be ours. #NoShame

She starts, "To my ex-husband, Lee Jong Suk, my first crush, Song Joong ki, my second crush, Ji Chang Wook, my third crush, Lee Joon Ki, my fourth crush, Park Hyung Sik, my boyfriend, Lee Hyun Woo, and to my fellow Korean drama addicts, a pleasant day to all of you."

TBH, that's us. We just need to change a few names with our own oppas, then we're done. Anyway, Em then proceeds to explain how she got hooked at watching K-Dramas and why they're V V V important.

"Many of you might ask, what benefit did I get from watching those? It's simple. Korean dramas gave me hope."

WORD, GIRL.

Em then explains more, saying that K-Dramas "made us feel that we are not alone" and that it's the only thing that "remains constant." Plus, she enumerates all the good things about K-Drama fans, too. That we're sweet, loving, motivated, dedicated, inspired, jolly...the list goes on and on! Hee hee. Uhm, we should know because we’re part of the K-Drama lovin’ crew.

"THERE is a good and a bad side to being a fangirl, but for me, it brought me good things. Don't generalize the fans,” she ends.

YASSS, GIRL! Hats off to you, Em! We couldn't be prouder of you ♥
