The popular saying, "You are only as old as you feel" is true especially for debutantes like Desiree. For her, turning 18 may entail growing up, but that doesn't mean she has to leave her true personality behind. Desiree pulled off a Katy Perry-esque Candy Land-themed party to showcase her playful and sweet nature (plus her singing talent!).

Desiree's debut surely delivered eye candy. Among the colorful details were hot air balloons that hung from the ceiling, big swing, lovely pinwheels, plus cotton candy and lollipopsin different sizes that amped up her debut's atmosphere and delighted her guests. True to her debut's theme, Desiree also looked sweet in her pink glittery tube dress as she graced the floor with a song number for her guests.

For Desiree, her debut was not just a celebration of her 18th birthday but also a celebration for her guests, too.  "This day is actually for you. I want to say thank you because you have all contributed something that made me who I am right now", she says.
