If there's anything positive to come out of Tito Sotto's "na-ano lang" remark about solo mothers—like, if we're really forced to come up with something positive out of an insensitive and unnecessary excuse of a joke—it's the opportunity to celebrate how amazing our single moms and dads are aside from proving him wrong and letting him know our voices are stronger than his, even with his power, that is. Not that we needed any help from him, tbh!

Case in point, the overwhelming response Twitter account Millennial of Manila got after rallying its followers to tweet a photo celebrating their single moms or dads. Below are some of the responses.

At the end of the day, we know better and we know our truth. That being a "na-ano lang" or a single mom or dad means being a strong, loving, independent, hardworking, selfless parent, and it's no laughing matter.
