Core Belief: Muslims have to follow the five pillars of Islam: “Shahada” (statement of faith), “Salah” (praying daily), “Zakat” (charity to the needy), “Saum” (fasting) and Hajj (pilgrimage to Mecca).

Place of Worship: Muslims usually go to the Mosque on Fridays. I often go there with my family or friends to learn and pray. Before we enter the Mosque, we remove our shoes and cleanse ourselves.

Special Holidays: We celebrate Id ul-Fitr which marks the end of Ramadan. We pray, give simple gifts, and wish each other good blessings in life. We also celebrate Id ul-Adha which lasts for four days after Hajj. We do this by sharing food with the poor and our loved ones.
