SEVENTH-DAY ADVENTIST
Sweet Tappan, 20
Core Belief: We worship the Lord every Sabbath. According to Exodus 20: 8-9, “Remember the Sabbath day to keep it holy. Six days you shall labor and do all your work, but the seventh day is a Sabbath to the Lord your God.” We don’t work or study on Saturdays; instead, we go to church to praise God and have fellowship with one another.
Spreading the Word: I join outreach programs or medical missions conducted by the church for the community. I also prepare Sabbath School programs, lead the congregation in singing, and contribute to the Youth Ministries Newsletter.
Prayer Time: I pray everyday. When I pray, I am comforted because I am able to communicate with my Heavenly Father. I can tell Him anything and I know He listens intently without judging. Imagine, the King of all kings as my best-est friend. Isn’t that great? :)
Woman of Faith: I haven’t doubted my faith because it’s like doubting the greatness of my God. Even if bad things happen in my life, I shouldn’t doubt Him because I know He won’t give me problems I can’t surpass. My faith is important to me because it keeps me happy, strong, and grounded despite this world full of sorrows and uncertainties.
