Lots of people have used the quarantine to makeover their bedrooms, study areas, and homes not just for aesthetic reasons, but for mental wellness, too. In special education teacher Cyrill Jones Sidlao's case, he decided to renovate a storage room into a proper classroom in anticipation of face-to-face classes. And he did everything with his students in mind.

To guide his design, the Zamboanga Del Norte local thought about what his kids really needed in a learning space, such as minimal distractions and a comfortable environment. As a#NoStudentLeftBehind advocate, Sidlao hopes to inspire more people to do their part in helping children achieve quality education, even more so in the time of COVID-19.
