Perhaps once in your life, you found yourself sweating more than usual and having hands as cold as ice. Other than that, your heart beats fast and you also seem to be trembling. These are the symptoms caused by something called fear. Fear often results to unadventurous summers, but don't panic. The solution is to take a step back, relax and when you're ready, go for it. Take it from five girls who were able to do it. They share how their fear affected them and how in the end, they managed to compose themselves to be able to take down the wall that separated them from their accomplishments.
"I used to be shy (just a little bit up to now, haha) and worry about what other people would think of me. Their opinion had an effect on me and lowered my self-esteem, but as I grew older, my parents told me to stop minding what people thought of me (parents know best!). The less I cared about what other people thought of me, the more I was able to grow as a person and discover myself without any inhibitions. Being a teenager, it is vital that we realize who we really are because only you can decide how you want to feel — confident, grateful and happy. And honestly, life is too short to worry about what others think of you." —Aryanna Epperson, 16, Student/YouTuber
