Most art hubslike theaters and museumsin Metro Manila and nearby areas have been closed since community quarantine started in March. This forced most of them to come up with the most innovative ways to bring art to our laptop screens by staging virtual shows or online exhibits. But with restrictions slowly easing in other parts of the country, some museums can finally open their doors again to visitors. One of which is Pinto Art Museum in Antipolo, Rizal, which started welcoming guests again in their door-filled galleries. This comes after Rizal was placed under modified general community quarantine on September 1.

New gallery hours are from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., from Tuesday to Sunday; and admission fee is now at P250 for regular visitors, P200 for senior citizens, and P125 for children and students. Walk-ins are allowed.

Pinto Art Museum also released their "New Normal Guidelines":

  • Bringing of children, infants, senior citizens, and immunocompromised guests is highly discouraged.
  • Thermoscanner is used at every entrance of the museum.
  • Alcohol dispensers are placed around the museum.
  • Guests will need to fill out and submit a health declaration form before leaving the museum. This will be given at the entrance.
  • No face mask, no entry.
  • No bringing of large bags (there are no baggage counters)
  • No smoking and spitting
  • No food and drinks
  • No pets allowed
  • No loitering
