These Schools Have Been Offering Online Degrees Even Before COVID-19

As colleges and universities across the country adapt to the new academic normal by shifting to online platforms, several academic institutions have already adapted to the digital era even before the world was stricken with a pandemic that hinders face-to-face learning.
These schools set up online learning specifically for individuals hoping to get a college degree despite not being able to comply with the traditional educational setup.
University of the Philippines Open University
One of the pioneers in online learning in the country is University of the Philippines Open University (UPOU) which was established way back in 1995. The online university offers select undergraduate and graduate programs, including Bachelor of Education Studies and Bachelor of Arts in Multimedia Studies.
For its undergraduate programs, the tuition fee costs P1,000 per unit (not including miscellaneous fees) and to graduate, students will have to take a toal of 142 units within four years (if full-time) or eight years (if part-time).

AMA University Online Education
AMA University Online Education offers undergraduate degrees in Information Technology, Education, Business, and Arts and Sciences. They also allow their students to work with a flexible schedule should they need to accommodate other life priorities. Classes are usually done by providing video lectures which students can view at their own pace as well as real-time online classes where students can interact and ask questions to their professors. These classes are also recorded so that students may replay them any time.

Aside from on-campus learning, PUP also offers distance education. The classes could either be self-paced where you set your own study schedule or online where you can communicate with your classmates and your teacher for questions about a particular lesson. The tuition fee for a three-unit subject can cost P4,800. The Open University specifically caters to individuals who cannot pursue a bachelor's degree in a traditional setting "due to accessibility, time, domestic and economic constraints." They offer degrees in Business Administration, Entrepreneurship, Human Resource Management, and Broadcasting, among others.
