Arman Ali Ghodsinia, a Maranao whose roots can be traced to Marawi City, will be graduating from UP Diliman with a degree in BS Molecular Biology and Biotechnology. Arman has a General Weighted Average of 1.176 and will be graduating with Latin honors. He is set to deliver a speech on behalf of the graduating class in the university's 106th General Commencement Exercises on Sunday, June 25.

Arman said that even though he was born and raised in Manila, he still feels sad about the situation of his family's hometown, especially now that it's the Holy Month of Ramadan.

When asked by GMA's Unang Balita if he'll talk about the current state of Marawi in his valedictory address, here's what he said:

As for his tips on graduating summa cum laude, Arman said that there are a lot of factors. He shared two of them: God and sipag.
