The road to making a film you'd be proud of isn't easy, however. When asked about his most difficult project to date, the filmmaker shares that nothing is easy when it comes to creating films and everything he's worked on was the fruit of hard work and dedication. For his first feature film Mayohan, Villegas even had to sell his own car to see the project through. It all paid off, though, as the film caught the attention of moviegoers and eventually bagged several awards at the Cinemalaya Film Festival.
