The government has "provisionally" approved the conduct of professional licensure examinations for the months of July to September, Malacañang said Friday, noting that certain conditions must be met due to the risks posed by COVID-19.
Presidential Spokesperson Harry Roque said the inter-agency task force on pandemic response approved the request of the Professional Regulation Commission to conduct board exams again subject to the following conditions:
1. PRC's health and safety protocols and minimum public health standards.
2. Issuance of guidelines from the PRC, Department of Health, and Philippine National Police.
3. Community quarantine classification of the concerned areas.
The development comes as the government started to ease COVID-19 restrictions again after more than a month of strict quarantines in Metro Manila and surrounding provinces Bulacan, Laguna, Cavite, and Rizal.
