In a memo circulating online, the La Salle Green Hills Facebook page announced that the campus will finally implement a coeducational system for the incoming school year as part of their initiative towards becoming an Integrated School in SY 2020 to 2021. To further push their agenda, a tuition subsidy will be given to the first 20 female applicants.

The memo also announced details about their strategy to address the COVID-19 pandemic in the upcoming school year called the Flexible Lasallian Education through Technology and Collaboration at Home SY 2020-2021 (LSGH FLETCH), which includes a staggered schedule of class openings and a home-based online learning curriculum to be observed in the first trimester. The previously announced 9.5 percent tuition increase will also no longer push through.

La Salle Green Hills opened in 1959. According to their website, "1968 saw the first batch of students graduating from the high school. They were known as the Primus batch. This group was made up of Grade 6 students from De La Salle College in Taft Avenue, Manila who were transferred to LSGH to continue their high school education since the high school department in De La Salle College Manila was being phased out, and the first batch of grade school graduates of LSGH."

De La Salle Zobel, located in Ayala Alabang Village, has long adopted a coeducational system. In 2016, 'rival' school Ateneo de Manila Senior High accepted over 200 girls into their senior high program. The first coed Senior High School class of Grade 12 students graduated in March 2018. "The coed nature of the Senior High School is part of preparation for college," Ateneo de Manila University president Fr Jose Ramon Villarin, SJ, said.
