On October 3, 2010, join Iza Calzado and Step Out! against breast cancer. The Philippine Cancer Society recently declared breast cancer as the number one cancer in the Philippines. This year, Avon Philippines launches the 2010 Kiss Goodbye to Breast Cancer, a series of Walk and Run events scheduled for the whole month of October.
The walks events will be held on October 3 (SM MOA Open Grounds and SM Bacolod), October 10 (Avon Cagayan de Oro and SM Lucena), and October 17 (SM Baguio); while the run events will be on October 3 (SM MOA Open Grounds) and October 10 (Avon Cagayan de Oro).
You just need to purchase the Limited Edition KGBC shirt for P149 to participate in the walk events. P20 from each shirt sold will be donated to the PGH Breast Care Center. Purchase of Avon Water Lily and Aloe Hand and Body Lotion (P109) will also be a 5-peso donation to the breast cancer fund. To join the run events, log on to the Avon KGBC site or visit participating Avon locations.
