Harry Potter, is that you?
Meet Jomar Villamor, the ice candy vendor who caught netizens’ attention with his sales pitch using an ~impressive~ British accent reminiscent of Daniel Radcliffe’s. It’s not wizardry, just pure talent and a lil’ inspiration from watching the Harry Potter movie series, shared the young boy from Maasin City, Southern Leyte.
In a video sent by a Grade 2 teacher Glynis Mark, Jomar was recorded using his ~convincing~ tone to sell his goods, hoping to make money for extra allowance. "By the way, sir, I got a product in here, and I am just hoping you’re gonna like this. So, I'm gonna sell this to you,” he told Glynis. In his sales pitch, he added that the ice candy costs five pesos each and is available in cheese and mango flavors.
On Facebook, several netizens expressed their admiration for the boy's speaking ability. Among some of the standout comments is one rooting for his schooling, while another user joked that he shouldn't use Harry Potter's famous spell which might cause the candies to melt. LOL!
Jomar disclosed that he’s currently out of school but hopes that through his entrepreneurial efforts, he’ll be able to help his family financially and eventually return to his studies.
