With the pandemic consuming up our normal lives, adjusting to online classes is also taking a toll on some people. That’s why a lot of students, teaching personnel, and parents are asking for academic freeze for this school year. As much as we all want to cope with this new normal, sitting in front of your computer with 20, 30 of your classmates listening to the teacher for hours can be a lot for others and draining for some. It’s either you embrace this new schooling thing or just stop for this year and continue during the next academic year. But since a lot of these students and teachers have no choice but to comply, the only thing they can do is to make classes interesting and fun, just like the old days.

And since school is going digital, taking notes became digital, too. This online arts and craft store called Artsy Palace on Facebook shares Stabilo highlighter hexadecimal or hex codes that students can use when highlighting their notes in their online notebooks and notepads.

Stabilo Boss has been known for its cool and pretty highlighters. From the original colors to neon, to pastel, to metallic, to mini highlighters, Stabilo never fails. But since most students are going paperless, these highlighters can no longer be used. But with these hex codes, you can now replicate Stabilo’s neon and pastel-colored highlighters when you're reviewing your digital notes.

If you are using Microsoft Word for your notes, here's how you can change the highlighter color.

Open your notes on MS Word, then on the menu bar, click 'draw'. Then choose the highlighter pen.

You can change the colors by clicking 'more colors'.

Customize the color palette using RGB Sliders then input the hex code that you want to use.

Then you are done! Just take note that you can use hex codes on any apps that let the user change or edit the hex code.
