People are tweeting about all those standards that frustrates girls since the beginning of time.

We don't really know how the hashtag #GrowingUpAGirl started, but when we read through the hashtag, things got a bit sad and frustrating. There are some that expressed the funny struggles of being a girl, but as you go over the other girls' tweets, the struggles of defying societies stereotypes has been expressed. Check out a few of the things we found here:

 3  Then people started talking about the real problems, like acting more like a lady.

 6  And this kind of harassment most girls face every single day.

 7  There's also that struggle of people asking you who you're trying to impress. Can't you get all dolled up for yourself?
