We're on the bridge.
You, me and her.
She was walking away from you.
Still, you kept chasing her.
I was trying to reach you.
I ran to cope up with the distance.
As we got closer, the distance was getting wide.
You're still chasing her.
Bruises on my feet.
They hurt badly.
I'm trying my best, because I want you.
I know you're worth it.
I ran as fast as I could,
Shouted your name as loud as I could.
I know you heard it.
You chose to neglect it.
Just because, you were chasing her.
I quit.
No, I decide to quit.
It was tough, yes.
It was a marathon with no finish line.
Then, I found myself walking away.
Returning to the other side of the bridge.
A one-way road, that will somehow ease the pain I'm bearing.
