I don't want you to love me like the way you love your favorite song. You will find it absolutely beautiful. You will adore it, but you will eventually grow tired of listening to it. You will know its lyrics too well. You will get sick of its beat. You might even find yourself reaching for the next song in your playlist.
I don't want that.
Instead, I want you to love me like that one song you randomly hear playing on the radio. You haven't heard of anything quite like it before. You don't even know its title, and every fiber of your being is dying to know so. The song is still playing, but you know that it won't be for long. And so you capture the lyrics and tuck them in between your heartstrings for you to strum along to.
The song stops playing on the radio, but it is somehow still playing on your mind. More and more songs are being played but you are still stuck on that one song. You are left breathless. You are left frustrated. It is a wonderful kind of frustration though - the lovely kind.
You might hear that song again soon. You might also never hear of it again. Basically, that song will drive you crazy.
That is how I want you to love me. Love me like you can't get enough of me.
