Sometimes it's now about how brave we were during the fight that matters, but it's about how brave we are as we stand up from the fall of losing a battle we wanted to win the most.

Remembering how fierce and how enthralled you were about the prize doesn't matter anymore. Instead it's now all about how you force yourself to pick up the shattered pieces of you trying to get it back together, trying to live your life again.

It may be hard, no, it is hard. Losing a battle is never easy. Healing deep wounds, tending to a broken heart, and rebuilding a damaged spirit is already hard enough if it wasn't your own, but what if it's yours?

However, you still get up. Slowly, ever so slowly, you get up. You put your self back together because there is no other way but to move on and get back on track. You tell yourself that it's okay. It's okay to lose, it's okay to fall because you learn things that those who succeeded first will never be able to learn: the beauty of patience and waiting for your right time to shine.

You remember that those who take things slow gain more knowledge and significant things along the way. Going slow doesn't matter as long as you don't stop, and continue the fight again after the fall.

Cheer up, this is not the end. The battle has just begun.
