Dad Who Bartered Chickens to Pay for Son’s Gadget is Now Helping Other Parents, Too

Way to pay it forward!

We've written before about how parenting is not just about bloodlines, and dad Lemur Enriquez is the prime example of a dad willing to go the extra mile for his kids. Lemur, a father of four from Camarines Sur, decided to barter three of his chickens in exchange for an android phone for his son’s online schooling.

Lemur used to be a fruit vendor but was forced to close down due to the pandemic. With the opening of classes getting near, he had no choice but to post his chickens on his Facebook account to ask for help. Lemur only asked for secondhand android phone but he ended up getting more than that after his post went viral. With the help of netizens who shared his post, Lemur and his kids got a brand new phone, a tablet, and a secondhand netbook. With the outpouring support that he’s receiving, Lemur decided to help other parents who need assistance, too.
