Putting aside your dreams and ambitions.
Becoming a "pleaser."
The Lesson: The right guy will make you feel good about yourself—not insecure, jealous, or insufficient.
If you're going through this right now: It's time to reassess your relationship. Why are you changing yourself for him? Does he think you're not good enough? If you don't change, will your relationship still work? If you feel like you're become a person you don't recognize anymore, this is bad sign. Changing for the better is fine because couples need to become more mature and grow together in a relationship. But it's not fine when it comes at the expense of making his world yours. You know that movie line, "You complete me?" It's totally wrong! The line should be, "I don't need you, but I choose to be with you."
