Now that the last few months of the school year are beckoning, you probably find yourself drowning in a sea of school work and other activities. Worry not, because we've got you covered! Here is our prep plan for overcoming stress for the coming months. Read on and take notes!

 1  Relax.

Before anything else, clear your head of all the worries. It's hard, we know, but you have to do it. You have to relax, so you can think better and so you can decide how you will approach the thing (or things) that have been stressing you out. Okay? Everybody now, inhale, exhale. Good.

 2  Make a to-do list.

What are the things that you have to accomplish? There are several methods in which you can make your to-do list to ensure maximum productivity. First, you can make several lists, separated into categories (i.e. a school to-do list, an extra-curricular to-do list, and a personal errand to-do list). This segregation method lets you see which area needs more work (thus, more focus). Another method is to write your to-do list according to level of difficulty. You can start with the small things that won't take much of your time to accomplish, progressing to the harder ones or you can start with the big things first while you still have the energy, and prioritize the small to-dos least. Make the to-do list that best suits you and soon you'll be crossing off things in no time.

 3  Choose your productivity plan.

Do you like taking lots of breaks in between working or do you prefer accomplishing everything first before taking a well-deserved rest? You can choose to work for 50 minutes and then take a 10 minute break, or you can take a break after every 20 minutes of work. The thing to remember is to know how you work, so you can choose the method that motivates you to be more productive.

 4  Rest.

Make sure to take breaks because if you don’t, you'll probably get burned out, start hating your work, and result to less productivity. You can take a power nap, treat yourself to your favorite snack, watch an episode of your favorite series—as long as your breaks are spent on doing things that will relax and recharge you. Always remember to reward yourself for a job well done!

These are just some tips on navigating your way through stress and coming out productive, Candy Girls. Do you have more tips on handling stress and being more productive? We'd love to hear from you!
