Prom is a once-in-a-lifetime event high school students look forward to, so many choose to go all in when it comes to preparing for the big night. And one of the many pre-prom preps would be to decide on your prom attire. When you look back years from now, you'd want to see a pic of yourself at prom and have zero regrets with the look you chose. Either way, we're sure prom nights always bring fond memories regardless of what you wear.
We got in touch with five content creators to take a walk down memory lane and share about the stories behind their prom 'fits. Talk about a major throwback!

On the inspo behind her prom gown, Rain shares, "I had no sense of style whatsoever in high school, all I knew was that lace was a nice fabric and I wanted it on me for JS Prom so I went with it! It had cute gems as well, I loved that dress so much I didn't care if my tiny high schooler built was suited for it or not hahaha."
Ashley Garcia
Content creator Ashley Garcia's prom dress was a simple but sleek gold frock. A part of her savings as a high school student went to buying the dress, and we think it's worth the spend. “God really said make her broke but well dressed," Ashley says.
Ciara Gan
YouTuber and artist Ciara Gan's prom dress story is not a secret, especially if you've caught wind of it when it became viral. On the inspo behind her dress, Ciara says, "I wanted to create a dress that unapologetically represented me. The color is my favorite, the flowers were tiger lilies (they hold a special significance to me), and painting is my passion."
Candy Rookie Krystal Dispo
It was love at first sight for Candy Rookie Krystal and her black lace prom gown. "What I liked and loved about this dress is how it looked classy and unique at the same time," Krystal says. "I've never seen any other dresses or gowns with the same design like this before so personally, I think this dress was a steal."
Candy Rookie Dana de Leon
Candy Rookie Dana was very hands-on with the design of her prom gown and described it as "an elegant dress I envisioned for an enchanting night."
Candy Rookie Tori Lindsey
Candy Rookie Tori's prom dress was a simple black and white ensemble, but to her surprise, Tori even won the Princess of the Night award wearing it. She shares, "It was an awesome experience to win an award on my first prom even though my dress was simple, but I guess it was quite elegant. :)"
