Allan Beltran had a casual but life-changing moment in the fourth grade. Back then, his only interest was playing computer games like a regular kid, until a basketball coach took notice of his height and offered him a spot on the school’s varsity team. Since then, ball has been life for the 20-year-old. “Basketball isn’t just a hobby for me. It’s a lifestyle, it became a part of me and it made me the person I am today,” Allan shares.
This tourism management major shares that he’s goal-oriented and enjoys a good challenge in life. He says, “I’m not comfortable with settling, and I’m always looking for an opportunity to do better and achieve greatness.” As a people-person, we’re sure Allan would get along pretty well with his fellow Candy Rookies.
