For Alexa Trillana, art will always have a special place in her heart. She may not be pursuing the field professionally and may not have enough time outside of academics, but the 20-year-old always tries to fill her daily routine with as much art as she could, “from taking photos of my sister, whom I consider my muse, to playing the ukulele and guitar, to even simply editing my Instagram stories.”
“I have always appreciated how art could be beautiful, confronting, and peculiar at the same time,” Alexa shares. “I find it interesting how it could be expressed into various mediums and it could be interpreted in many ways.”
This nursing student is someone who’s curious about many things in life. She also loves being surrounded by people, striking up conversations with them and learning about their thoughts. But aside from learning about other people’s stories, part of Alexa’s curiosity involves getting to know herself a bit more. And while she knows what she wants and what she’s passionate about in life, she believes there is still a lot more to discover about herself, and she’ll remain curious and ready to learn each day.
