1. Build a House, Build a Life
Try: Habitat for Humanity
Location: Ongoing builds are at the FTI Food Complex in Taguig and at the BASECO Bagong Buhay Village in Tondo, Manila and Canlubang, Laguna.
Target: Poor families, called "homepartners," who can better afford durable and decent houses with your help.
Simple Step: Join Save and Build, where donors sponsor one third of a homepartner's house costs. Encourage your family or community to pool money and sponsor a house for a family!
Extra Challenge: Build houses with your own hands. You may be asked to do anything from groundbreaking to painting walls. The best part? You'll get to build the homes of the people you'll be working with.

2. Help Victims of Calamities
Try: Ateneo Disaster Response and Management Team (DREAM Team)
Location: Loyola House of Studies, Ateneo de Manila University, Loyola Heights, Quezon City
Target: Victims of natural calamities
Simple Step: Give cash donations to help them purchase relief goods and pay for transportation expenses. Clothing, canned goods and home supplies are a big help too!
Extra Challenge: Go to their warehouse to help sort relief goods, or to the affected areas to help out with rescue operations.
