While we can do nothing but wait for the next movie based on Harry Potter's world, we think there's enough magic to go around and give you ideas for your debut. If you grew up wishing you'd receive an acceptance letter from Hogwarts (and you never got one), you can do the next best thing by throwing a debut inspired by the Harry Potter series.
If you have a favorite house, you can use their colors as your theme. Or you may also go for another deep color, like plum or purple, for your motif. No need to take the theme too literally--instead, subtly incorporate details that give a Hogwarts feel, like ornate lamps and antique keys. Raffia elements may also bring to mind the rustic charm of broomsticks and Hagrid's cottage.
