So Candy girls, the latest school rankings are out, and according to QS World University Rankings, Ateneo de Manila University (ADMU) is the Philippines’ number one school in terms of preparing students for employment after graduation.

The latest QS rankings is focused on Graduate Employability, an important topic in education as graduating students enter the new COVID-19-affected work landscape. The rankings are based on the schools that equip students with the “skills and qualities required by modern employers.”

“Each of the universities ranked below has demonstrated an ability to produce graduates with the 'soft skills' required for the modern workplace,” the QS platform explained. “Given the fierce competition for graduate roles around the world, students should be seriously considering how their university can prepare them adequately for full-time employment, by connecting them with global employers and ensuring they develop the necessary skills and knowledge.”

Only four Philippine universities made it to the global list. Ateneo de Manila University ranked in the 151-160 bracket, University of Santo Tomas ranked in the 251-300 bracket, and De La Salle University and the University of the Philippines both ranked in the 301-500 bracket.
