Most schools have already began with online classes to keep up with the academic calendar, but many students still face the problem of internet connectivity which hinders them from accessing the necessary materials for their classes online.

One student, however, shared how her school actually had the entire semester's reading materials for a class delivered to her home in a flash drive. Lenz Dagohoy, a third-year student taking up BS Physics at Ateneo de Manila University, shared a photo of her package delivery in a now-viral tweet.

Lenz had a hard time trying to download the reading materials for her PHILO 12 class, so she decided to bring it up with her professor. In a conversation with Candy on Messenger, Lenz shared, "Initially I just told my prof that I had internet connectivity issues which is why I was submitting my [requirements] late (or only on the weekends when my internet is kind of stable). Usually I'd have enough mobile data to at least be able to open Canvas (the LMS that ADMU is using for online classes) but during that week I already maxed out my data."

"I could still access Canvas since it's not a high-bandwidth app anyway, it's just that I have trouble downloading my readings. She suggested to send me a flash drive (through ADMU) containing the term's modules and readings so I don't have to download them," she explains.

Lenz also said that she had the conversation with her professor on Friday, July 17, and by Monday of next week, an employee from the school's Office of the Associate Dean for Student and Administrative Services (OADSAS) had reached out to her about it. She received the flash drive containing all the necessary modules and slides for that class through a Lalamove delivery the next day. Props to her prof and her school for that!
