Because not everything can be bought.

There are only 2 more days till Christmas and we're pretty sure you're eager to cross off everything on your growing Christmas list. That matte red lipstick you've been jonesing for all year, the sleek black backpack you wished for when you aced your finals, the year-end trip your parents promised you at the beginning of 2015. The list could go on and on, but we here at the Candy HQ think that nothing money can buy can beat ~love~ and the holiday spirit on Christmas. We've put together a list of things—that aren't actually material things—we think would make awesome "gifts."

  1. Can't-breathe-make-your-tummy-hurt kind of laughter. Whether it's because of a funny joke—or let's be honest, super corny—your dad cracks at the dinner table or something hilarious your gal pal quipped to make you feel better, nothing warms the heart more than a laughing fit.

  2. A hug that instantly comforts. Retail therapy sometimes helps, but when you've had a bad week, month, or year, all you want to do is melt into a warm, tight hug.

  3. A filter for hate. Have you been scrolling past mean tweets and posts filled with name-calling on your feeds the past couple of days? Imagine if there was a filter that could block out any negative thoughts even before they left your mouth or before your fingers could type them out? Then maybe we'd all get along with each other!

  4. Unlimited bonding time. Imagine if you'd never run out of hang time with your besties or your family? What if you and your cousins who are home for the holidays could just catch up till who-knows-when without having to worry that they need to catch a flight back? Ah, a girl can dream.

  5. Sound advice for your love problems. Sometimes, all you need to move on from a relationship gone sour are encouraging and empowering words from a person you truly trust.

  6. Peace and quiet. When all you want to do is stay in bed with a good book, the last thing you want is your neighbor's karaoke machine playing non-stop. Wishing you a "Silent Night" this Christmas season.

  7. The joy of a shared love. We're talking fandoms, geeking out, and generally freaking out over the same thing. Sharing is caring, you guys!

Feel free to add your own suggestions to the list! Merry, merry Christmas, Candy Girls! May we always remember the reason for the season.
