And so we must make sure to take care of it, and what better way to stay fit and healthy than by trying out different cool and fun activities and workouts with your family or barkada? Here are a few you can try this summer break!
Don't be afraid of trying out new things this summer because more experiences can mean more fun, too. Hoopnotica will let you do just that. What is it, anyway? Well, by the name, Hoopnotica is dancing and artistry with a twist, using a hula hoop! They've got a branch in Makati called Hoopnation PH. Want to do this at home? Tired of the usual yoga positions and exercises? Try out Antigravity yoga for a unique yoga experience! Defying gravity, having fun, and staying fit all at the same time? What more could you ask for? You’ll be surprised at the amazing things you can do while trying this workout.

4 Ice Skating
Who doesn’t love Frozen? Experience that cold and winter-like feeling when you go ice skating. It's a super fun way to strengthen all your muscles and keep you lean. It's definitely one of the coolest sports in Manila, literally. You can choose between trying out figure skating and ice hockey.
Rinks are located at the SM Mall of Asia, SM Southmall, and SM Mega Fashion Hall, Megamall.
Want to get that middle split? Or want to check off being able to cartwheel from your bucketlist? Enroll in gymnastics classes to be able to reach your goals while under the supervision of competent coaches to make sure you are safe and doing it right. There are different types of gymnastics that you can try, from rhythmic to aerobic. Plus, you can enroll as a group with your barkada!

Get your groove on and search for your passion. From hiphop, to jazz, to ballet, and more, dance workshops will keep you fit and active this summer. Showcase or discover your talents and be fit and happy at the same time. Check out dance workshops near you or you can also watch dance videos online so you have the comfort of dancing at home.
Zumba is another adrenaline-pumping activity you can try with your whole barkada. Dance to upbeat and funky music, burn lots and lots of calories, and meet new people! If you’re having this much fun, you wouldn’t even realize that you’re already sweating. Check out the gym nearest you or simply Google Zumba workouts you can try at home. In that case, you won’t even have to lose a penny!
