If you've seen enough UAAP games this season, then you should be pumped up and inspired to get back to the gym and work out to get that fit and toned body like these athletes. To help you in that endeavor, here are some Pinay athletes who are each highly respected in their chosen sport and are not afraid to flaunt their hard-earned muscles.

 Rachel Anne Daquis

Rachel was the former team captain of the FEU Lady Tamaraws where she was dubbed as the "Queen Tamaraw." During her time as a Lady Tamaraw, she was awarded as the Best Server in the UAAP (Season 68-69) and Shakey's V-League Season 11. She was also the Finals MVP for Shakey's V-League Season 11. After college, she became the team captain of the PLDT HOME TVolution Women's Team. She is now currently a member of the Philippine Army Lady Troopers and the Petron Blaze Spikers.

Gretchen Ho

Most of us might know Gretchen Ho. She was one of the Ateneo Lady Eagles and part of the Fab 5, a group of stand out volleyball players from the Ateneo Lady Eagles. Aside from sports, Gretchen Ho also hosts the Gameday Weekend show on ABS-CBN. She's won multiple medals from the UAAP, Shakey's V-League, and the Philippine Super Liga.

Alyssa Valdez

If you were to ask random teenagers who their favorite female athlete is, they would most likely say Alyssa Valdez. And why not? Alyssa Valdez proves that she is one superwoman we can all admire. She has won numerous awards for her outstanding play in court. In UAAP alone, she was awarded 3-time Best Scorer, 2-time Best Server, 2-time Season's MVP, and one-time Finals MVP. She became part of the Philippine National Volleyball Team in 2013. She is also a team member of the PLDT Home Ultera Ultra Fast Hitters. Alyssa shows that she didn't just get what she wanted, she persevered to achieve it and that's what makes her a champion.

Natasha Alquiros

Natasha is the midfielder for the Philippine National Women's Football Team and she's also part of Sikat, a semi-professional football club that is based here in the Philippines. She used to be part of the Green Archers United Club. Since then she's become a sportscaster, hosting sports events, live sports coverage, and most recently hosted the show UAAP UpFront.

Cassie Umali

Cassie Umali is a complete package when it comes to sports. She is a member of not one, but three national teams–the Philippine Lady Volcanoes (Rugby Team), the Philippine National Touch Football Team, and the Philippine National Lady Punishers (American Football Team). She is also an Ultimate Frisbee player. Not only that, but she is also formidable when it comes to mixed martial arts and she competes in competitive freestyle wrestling. This lady surely isn't one to you shouldn't take one for granted. With all the work and dedication she puts in to keep her body healthy and fit, she definitely shouldn't be afraid to flaunt those muscles. You go, Cassie!

Gabby Dela Merced

Gabby is Filipina Formula Three racecar driver. She has won numerous accolades nationally and internationally, the most recent was in 2009 where she won the Series Championship in the 25 Hours Of Thunderhill Competition.
