Oldie but goodie: Xocolat

X marks the (sweet) spot. Xocolat is a tried and tested neighborhood cafe that provides a homey and welcoming ambiance. Here, chocolate creations are the star. The house-turned-cafe can accommodate solo diners if you're looking for a quiet spot to read your book, as well as big groups for a relaxed hangout.

Flaming Wings has fed countless hungry and sleep-deprived students. With their generous portions and wide selection of dishes, this casual dining spot surely gives more bang for your buck. To satisfy your hunger pangs, order their wings or tenders, and don't forget to finish with their Wicked Oreos.
All things pretty: Common Room PH

Aside from being 100% Instagrammable, Common Room is a haven for all things local and handmade. If you need to replenish your stationery and crafting supplies, or are looking for decor for your bare dorm room, drop by Common Room's Katipunan branch. You won't run out of creative inspiration here.
Stress reliever: Barkin' Blends Dog Café

Is school stressing you out? Barkin' Blends Dog Cafe may be able to help. Not only do they serve food and drinks, they also have a Dog Zone where you can play with their adorable Barkin' Buddies. Serious business: The Study - Idea Space

During exams season, it pays to have a good space for studying. Katipunan's The Study should be on your list. They serve food and drinks and have cubicles you can rent for your study group with sufficient sockets, so you don't run out of juice for your gadgets. And once you're done reviewing, you can just hang with your friends.
