Best friends Sofia Andres and Elisse Joson recently appeared together on ABS-CBN's Magandang Buhay to share their friendship story. Lucky for us, they both shared the little things that make their friendship work, which we can all apply in our very own relationships.

  1. You don't always have to have the same interests to be good friends.

Elisse: "Magkasalungat talaga kami.

  1. Encourage each other to keep going.

  1. Be happy for each other's achievements.

Elisse: "Importante din yung walang nagsasapawan. Support lang sa isa't isa."

  1. Have "bathroom sessions" where you can talk your problems out.

Doon kasi yung quiet time na walang mang-iistorbo, walang makakakita, walang makakarinig."

  1. Let her be happy with her love life even if you don't like her boyfriend so much.

And then after, kunwari, hindi maganda yung nangyari, 'ayan kasi anong sabi ko sayo?'"

Elisse: "Pero pag during, 'I'm happy for you,' kasi masaya ka [para sa kaibigan mo]. Pero pag after, kunyari nasaktan na siya o hindi naging maayos, doon na lalabas yung...'Eh kasi ganito talaga ang na-fi-feel ko about sa ganyan.'"
