Konichiwa! It’s a mixture of different Japanese street styles. I like bits and pieces of certain styles and combine them on a whim. But compared from my style years ago, I think my style evolved. From the punkish style to a more age appropriate style.
Shopping haven. Everywhere! From the local shops to Landmark, department stores, bazaars, online shops, thrift shops, and surplus shops. I sometimes get my clothes from my aunt in Japan. Some are hand-me-downs and some are new. And there are times I make my own, if I have the time.
Style icons. Hiroota Naoto, Eri Utsugi, Anna Sui, Alexander McQueen, and Vivienne Westwood! How I wish I could wear their bizarre creations before I die haha!
Style influence. Japanese street fashion, particularly Lolita, Gyaru, Mori Girl, visual and natural Kei. I really can't stick to one style or call it something specific because I really love experimenting on outfits. Some of my friends say that my style is unpredictable. I just go and wear what I want depending on my mood.
Closet palette. Most of my clothes are blacks, browns, whites, and creams and the rest can complete a rainbow.
Accessorize. Bows. It can be anywhere, on my head, on my dress, or on my bag, as long as I have a bow in my outfit, I am satisfied.
Never ever! Tube tops. It looks bad on me, and it's a bit daring for me already. I also don't wear jeans most of the time unless required. I find it uncomfortable.
Trend alert. It has already made a comeback—the platforms!
Best bargain buy. A gray high quality cotton pleated skirt that I got in mint condition for Php20 at my favorite thrift shop. :)
Vintage hand-me-downs. A black knit vest and a floral waist skirt. My mom had it when she was still in high school. It's probably around 25 years old now and is still in a very good condition.
